The adventure of Bahaullah’s son’s fighting for the father’s succession

In his wills, Hussein Ali Baha elected his elder offspring Abbas Effendi as his successor and appointed his other offspring Muhammad Ali as Abbas Effendi’s successor:

"توجّهوا الی من اراده الله"

Obey the one whom God elected”. He meant Abbas Effendi. He has also said:

"اصطَفَینا الاَکبر بعد الاعظَم امراً مِنْ لَدُن عَلیمٌ خبیرٌ[1]"

“Surely, Muhammad Ali was elected by us after Abbas Effendi”

However, these two offspring of the forged prophet of Baha’ism who are born from different mothers fought each other for this reason that Muhammad Ali believed that Abbas Effendi is the father’s successor and he himself was the assistant and the prince of father’s successor. So, Abbas Effendi expected him to obey the father’s views and commandments and to consult with him as the second successor and to respect his position. Abbas Effendi expected Muhammad Ali to obey him.

Due to the fighting between two brothers and the totalitarian behaviors of Abbas Effendi, Muhammad Ali wrote letters to the Baha’i faith centers and different people and sent representatives to Iran, Iraq, Egypt, India and introduced Abdul Baha as usurper and ambitious and accused him for distorting and relinquishing father’s orders and commandments.[2]

Consequently, Abbas Effendi called his brother as great covenant breaker and his followers as Sabetin. Muhammad Ali also called Abbas Effendi as the head of polytheists and Satan.[3] Abbas Effendi also called his brother and his disciples as fly, roach, worm, bat, owl, fox and wolf.[4] Muhammad Ali continued to call Abdul Baha as calf and donkey and called himself as Ghazanfarullah[5]. At last, Abbas Effendi deposed his brother of his succession.
