God has ordered for each male and female adulterer to pay 9 methqals gold to the universal house of justice. If he/she repeat it, he/she must pay two times. The commandment is from the owner of heavens.[1]”

However, the Excellency Baha has indicated his creed to be non-divine by issuing such commandment and appointing 9 methqals of gold. Anyway, paying the punishment to the universal house of justice and receiving the receipt, the person will leave there and go to another girl or woman. It is also said that: “The adultery issue is related to the single ones not to the married ones. Nevertheless, the male and female married adulterer’s commandments are due to the universal house of justice.[2]”

However, it is really surprising that a person who robs something, he/she will be imprisoned, exiled and branded on his/her forehead[3]; but a person who fornicates will pay 9 methqals gold to the universal house of justice! What a difference punishment[4].

Of course, issuing such commandments by the leaders who ware always teaching dastardliness and leaving the prejudices towards hometown and chastity isn’t very surprising!
