Bahaismiran:

The Baha'i proselytizers have claimed for considering being treacherous in homeland as an unforgivable sin by Abdul Baha. However, if it is so, why has Abdul Baha committed an unforgivable sin by spying for England and being treacherous in the Ottoman government?

It is narrate by Abdul Baha: "No sin can be considered as great as being treacherous in homeland or failing to serve homeland.[1]" why Abdul Baha himself exiled to Ottoman and selected Effendi title for himself and prayed for this government as follows:

"الهی الهی اسئلک بتأئیداتک الغیبه و تئفیقاتک الصمدانیه و فیوضاتک الرحمانیه...[2]"

;but he was secretly cooperating with the English and was treacherous in this Islamic government.

Eventually, the Ottoman statesmen got furious and were going to punish him. As Abdul Hussein Ayati says in this regard: "In the second year of the war, Anwar pasha and Jamal Pasha met each other and I didn’t understand what treachery has been discovered by Jamal Pasha. Because it was said that Jamal pasha would go to Heyfa to punish Abbas Effendi. However, when I entered into Heyfa, I observed that Abdul Baha and relatives weren’t unaware of the issue and were running about.[3]"
