The Advent of The Bab and Bahaullah is the Day of Judgment
MOHAMMED REZA ISFAHANI
The Baha’i Viewpoint:
Baha’is claim that the advent of Qaem Ale’ Mohammed (Imam Mahdi) is the \"lesser\" or \"minor\" Day of Judgment. This will be followed by the advent of a great prophet which will be the \"greater\" Day of Judgment. This new messenger will put an end to all conflict and differences. They claim that this great prophet is Mirza Hussein Ali, the self-titled Bahaullah and Mirza Ali Mohammed Shirazi was Qaem Ale’ Mohammed.
Our Response:
1. The Quran does not make any reference to \"minor\" or \"greater\" Days of Judgment.
2. Even if, for the sake of argument, we accept this theory to be correct, there is no proof available in the Quran for Mirza Ali Mohammed Shirazi to be the Qaem Ale’ Mohammed.
3. In the same manner, there is no proof available that Mirza Hussein Ali, Bahaullah was the great prophet.
4. History is witness to the fact that in their entire lifetime, forget about the world, they were unable to remove the differences even between two people. Rather, they created conflicts amongst men and even between man and wife to the extent that one lady even played a role in the murder of her husband, only because he opposed the Baha’i Faith and refused to acknowledge it. My reference is needless to say towards Taherah Qazvini.
5. Bahuallah who is the one meant to remove all conflicts and differences faced by mankind was unable to even alleviate the conflicts between himself and his brothers! After Bahaullah, the differences between his son Abdul Baha and family members and even today the various sects and factions which plague the Baha’i Faith are sufficient testimony to the fact that neither was Bahaullah the prophesised \"great\" prophet nor was his advent the \"greater\" Day of Judgment promised to Baha’is.
6. Again, for the sake of argument, one accepts that the advent of Mirza Ali Mohammed Shirazi was the \"minor\" Day of Judgment and that of Mirza Hussein Ali, the \"greater\" Day of Judgment - then what Day of Judgment should one consider the coming of his son, Abdul Baha who is also claimed to be a prophet?Â

7. Which Day of Judgment will commence when the new prophet prophesied by Bahaullah will come after the passage of 1,000 years?
8. The world today is torn apart with strife and conflict. The pages of history of mankind are replete with bloody battles and confrontations. Bahaullah has come and gone more than 150 years ago - who is meant to resolve all these conflicts in this age?
Conclusion:
These are the ramblings of a man made religion which is suffering from the pangs of its own interpretation. This religion has nothing to do with Allah, The Holy Prophet (pbuh), His book nor the Family of the prophet (as). Therefore one would not be wrong in considering the Baha’i Faith as an enemy of not only the religion of Allah, but also that of mankind.
