The emergence of Seyyed Ali Muhammad Bab

After forming the ideology of Shiekism and the death of its innovator (Sheik Ahmad Ehsaee and Seyyed Kazem Rashti) the new innovations were developed in Islam. The English and Russian government planned a new ideology based on Shiekism one in which they threatened on of the main pillars of Shiism that is the emergence of Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his reappearance). This new innovation satisfied all hideous intentions of the Colonial governments invested on this project. Because at that special period of time they were following chaos in the country. However, in this way some mad man such as Ali Muhammad Shirazi became the puppet by the English and Russian government claimed fir deputation of Imam Mahdi (P.H.) and divinity!

Who is Bab?

Seyyed Ali Muhammad Shirazi the founder of the deviant creed of Babism was born in the lunar month of Moharram 1235 A.H. in Shiraz city. He father was Reza and his mother was Fatime Beigom called Khadijeh Beigom. He started reading and writing as usual in Shiraz. He was still a kid when he lost his father. For this reason he moved towards Boushehr and was under the guardianship of his maternal uncle. He was trained by one of the followers of Shiekism cult. When he became mature He became busy trading in Sasun Company whose shaves belonged to one of the Capitalists of Baqdad who was Jewish. He was busy trading in Boushehr port and Bombay city, India. He was trading opium. His duty was rubbing opium which was a difficult task, first. He was spending 10 hours a day under the blazing sun in Boushehr port pouring the liquid opium kept in big jars and casks on special boards and rubbing up and down for a long time in order to be changed into hard and tight balls of opium. Then he rolled them into 20-gram sticks to be sent to Sasun commercial firm office in Bombay, India to be distributed in the southeast Asia region specially China with a low price or free among the native people of those regions according to the policies of the English colonial government.

Most people believe that working 10 hours under the blazing sun of Bushehr city made him as an melancholic person who claimed the Seizure over the moon and stars. This note has been mentioned in the memoirs of Prince Kiniaz Dalgorki, the Russian embassador in Iran about Seyyed Ali Muhammad Bab.

Ali Muhammad Bab’s familiarity with a Jewish family and Sasun Capitalist had an important effect on his life and made him familiar with the earnest Jewish assemblies as the bases of his claims of Babism.

Seyyed Ali Muhammad Shirazi (Bab) who had spent his primary educations in Bushehr under the supervision of a teacher called Shiek Abad who was on of bigoted followers of Shiek Ahmad Ehsaee, the founder of Shiekism cult became one of the believers of this cult. He traveled to Karbala to complete his knowledge. He participated in Seyyed Kazem Rashti’s, the then leader of Shiekism and the successor of Shiek Ahmad Ehsaee, class.

Seyyed Kazem Rashti died in 1259 and didn’t elect anyone as his successor. Several days before his death, he announced in the presence of some of his followers the Excellency Mahdi (P.H.) would emerge soon to manage the Muslims’ affairs himself.

When Seyyed Kazem Rashti died, Ali Muhammad Shirazi was in Bushehr. He was 5 years of age. It is expected that he was encouraged and tempted by the Jewish in Sasun company to claim for Bab of Imam Zaman(P.H.)
