The rules of Babi religion:

A. One of the subdivisions of Bab’s teachings is vanishing all moral, literary, scientific and religious books.

B. Ali Muhammad has necessitated destroying all the buildings and mausoleums on the earth from Kaabah to the prophets’ and the holy Imams’ graves and all the mosques, synagogues, churches and idol-temples and every construction carries the name of piety.

C. Because Ali Muhammad Shirazi Bab was born in Shiraz, he has necessitated every person who turns to him to build his house in Shiraz in a special style.

D. The best one of everything belonged to (the Bab himself) and its average belongs to Hajj letters (the first eighteen disciples of Bab and the most inferior of them belong to the rest of people.

E. The hajj of Shiraz Kaaba (Bab’s house which is now located in Shiraz). It is necessary for all Babi men across the world to make a pilgrimage to his house in Shiraz. Also, it is necessary for the kings who turn to Bab’s faith to build Ali Muhammad Bab in Shiraz in a special form; so that the house will have 95 gates from out side and 90 gates from the in side. The house is so vast that embrace all Shiraz city in order for all people in the world to be held in it for Babi hajj. Additionally, eighteen tombs must be built for eighteen Bab’s believers.

F. The marriage should be got on the condition that the both couple are satisfied.

G. Wearing silky, golden and silver clothes in lawful for men.

H. It is unlawful for a teacher to punish his/her pupil. If it is necessary, he/she must beat the pupil to his/her clothes sides five times. If it is done more than 5 times, it will be illegitimate for him to have a sexual intercourse with his wife for 19 days.

I. Babis years has 19 month and each month has 19 days and Babis should fast for 19 days and Fetr feast is the first day of the New year [Norouz]

J. Women’s cover has been unlified.

K. It is necessary for each Bab’s follower to get married for having offspring; but if a woman didn’t become pregnant, she can ask for another Babi brother to make her pregnant!

L. Killing all non-Babi people is necessary for Babi ones.

M. It isn’t permissible for urban girls’ dowry to be more than 95 Mesghals of gold and for rural girls to be more than 95 Mesghals of silver!

N. Group prayer is illegal except for requiescat.

O. It is illegitimate to preach over the pulpit.

P. Kissing hands is illegal and shrift is prohibited except in the presence of the creator.

Q. Fetwa [the religious proclamation is illegitimate and Jihad [the holy war] must be done according to Bab’s permission.
