A glance at the “Aqdasâ€
Bahaismiran:
The so-called holy book of Baha’is is “the Aqdasâ€[1]. Baha’is consider it as revelation according to Hussein Ali Baha’s emphases. The Baha’I leader says in this regard: “
It is necessary for the faithful to act according to what is ordered in the Aqdas. This book has been sent down by He who knows the foreknowledge.â€
He also says:
إنّه لمطلع علم الله لو أنتم تَلَمون Ùˆ مَشرقَ أوامÙرَ الله لو أنتم تَعرÙÙون.[3]
Surely, the Aqdas book is he origin of God’s science, if you know. It is the origin of His orders if you know.†Also, according to Baha’is ideas, the Aqdas book is superior to all the previous heavenly books.[4]
The Aqdas consist of three parts:
1. Part one consist of commandments. Hussein Ali Baha has invented some of its commandments; but the general features of the book have been originated from the Bayan written by Ali Muhammad Shirazi. For instance, “when you get ill, refer to the most Skillful physicians.â€
2. Part two: Mores. There are many humerous notes in this part. For instance: Don’t eat with your hands. Don’t go to the Persian bath. Don’t shave your head. Don’t let your hair cover your ears and etc.
3. Part three: the leader of this cult’s sermons to kings.
The Aqdas which has been written in Arabic language translated into English and published in 1992 [5]. This book is the most important writing of Hussein Ali Baha. This book is full of literary errors. Of course, he has discovered these errors; since he has said: “O’ a group of scholars! Don’t evaluate the Aqdas with your science rules since all your affairs must be evaluated by this great scale, if you know.[6]â€
How is the possible for a prophet to be aroused in Iran; while his book has been in Arabic language???!!!
