The false claim of Bab’s emergence prediction
Bahaismiran:
One of the characteristics of the divine proof or according to Baha’is expression the resources of emergence is appointing him by the previous proof. The divine proof is allowed to elect his successor after him and it is God’s duty to elect him.[1] In order to pretend their heads’ prophethood claim, Baha’is are trying to prove the predictions by Islamic leaders and scholars for their heads.
For this reason, the expert of one of the programs of the network “The Baha’i faith†stated in a special program called “the new worldâ€: “Before the appearance of the Excellency that the emergence would take place in 1260 A.H.. when Bab appeared and announced his appearance exactly the same year; that is, 1260 A.H. had been predicted.[2]â€
Nevertheless, it should be noted that there is no text confirms Ali Muhammad Shirazi’s appearance as the twelfth Imam of Shiites and there is no positive prediction which confirms him. In contrast, various traditions by the holy Imam (peace be upon them) which confirm the Imamate of Imam Hassan Askari’s (P.H.) offspring as the twelfth Imam.[3]
For instance, Imam Hassan Askari stated: “O’Ahmad ibn Ishaq! God has never left the earth without any proof since the creation of the Excellency Adam (P.H.) to the time of resurrection in order to banish the calamities out of the earth people and to send down the rain. Ahmad ibn Ishaq asked: O’ the messenger of God’s offspring (P.H.), who is your successor after you? Then, he stood up quickly and went home and came out after a while he was carrying a three-year-old infant whose face was Shining like the moon. Then, he stated: O’Ahmad ibn Ishaq, if you weren’t cherished in the presence of God and his proof, I wouldn’t show you my offspring. His name is as the same as the messenger of God’s name and his nickname is so. He is the one who will fill the earth out of justice after it is filled with tyranny…[4]â€
Additionally, 146 traditions in the Islamic resources confirm the Imamate of Imam Hassan Askari’s offspring (P.H.) after him.[5]
The mentioned-above traditions indicate that Ali Muhammad Shirazi (Bab) can’t be the twelfth Imam of Shiites.
