One of the main strategies of success and progress in each community is unity. Thus, the religion of Islam has stressed it very much. Consequently, each affair which causes correlation among the Islamic nations has been emphasized.
One of the affairs which causes unity to be expanded among Muslims is group prayer. The prayer which possesses benefits such as punctuality, discipline, creating brotherhood spirit, removing displeasure and etc. Thus, the group prayer is so important that has been advised even at war time. The Almighty God has taught his prophet how to do it during war.
And when thou (O Muhammad) art among them and arranges (their) worship for them, let only a party of them stand with thee (to worship) and let them take their arms. … (Al-Nisa/102)
In order to stress the importance of group prayer, the holy prophet (P.H.) stated to a blind man: “Connect your house and the mosque with a rope in order not to lose the virtue of group prayer.[1]”
While the leaders of the Baha’ism who has assumed themselves as the proclaimers of unity of the humane world[2] have opposed this commandment and confronted it. As the claimant of prophethood of the cult has said: “It is necessary for you to pray individually and the commandment of the group prayer has been removed.[3]”
Yes, the leaders of Baha’ism who has overruled aiming the removal of unity among the Muslim community and disunity have collated the unity in the Islamic society. Rejecting all benefits of group prayer, they have introduced hypocrisy as the reason for their collations. If it is so, why have the Baha’i leaders participated in group prayers of Muslims? What is their justification[4]?!!!
