After the victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in 1362 S.H., Iran introduced the spiritual assemblies and organization of Baha’ism as illegitimate and illegal and ordered it to be disband. However, the Baha’ism organization violated the rule by changing the name of assembly to “Yaran Iran” and continued its previous trend.

     In 1362 S.H., the Islamic Republic of Iran announced the Baha’ism spiritual assemblies and organization as illegal and commandment it to be disband.[1] However, being careless about the governmental commandment, the Baha’ism organization changed its assembly’s name into Yaran Iran to practically violate the rule and continued its previous trend.

      As a result, in 1387 S.H., after 7 members of all illegal foundation being captured[2], the then attorney general Ayatullah Dorri Najaf Abadi wrote a letter to Mohseni Ejei (the then minister of intelligent service) announced all the activities of Baha’ism organization as illegal: “The organization of the deviant cult of Baha’ism is illegal and informal. Their dependence to Israel and their opposition against Islam and the Islamic system of government is obvious and their dangers for the national security is documented. It is necessary to confront against each organization which is acting as the fake one to be replaced by the original one based on regulations.[3]”

     Now, after 10 years imprisonment of the Baha’ism heads coincided with freedom of the last member of the group, the Baha’ism organization has issued a statement in Geneva In the statement, it is claimed for the punishments of these people to be unfair and it has been claimed that the members of the Baha’ism organization in Iran have been pursued due to their religious beliefs[4]!

     There are several notes for analyzing these news and data:

1)   Baha’is believe that Baha’ism is a cardiac belief. It isn’t a political organization. Why is it necessary for an organization to be created against the governmental rules of Iran?!

     According to Baha’ism teachings, it is necessary for the Baha’is to obey the governments unconditionally. Why don’t you obey?! Abdul Baha has ordered Baha’is: “Don’t drink water without the government’s permission[5]”. Why don’t you obey?! “It is necessary for you to obey each government’s commandment even if it is despotic[6].” How does Baha’ism let itself to transgress the governmental rules to keep its organization?!

     2) The Baha’ism proselytizing uproar for their heads to be denounced was created while in the letter of the country public prosecutor, the freedom of idea for Baha’is has been considered and just membership in its illegal organization has been announced as forbidden. As Ayatullah Qorban Ali Dorri Najaf Abadi wrote a letter to Qolam Hussein Mohseni Ajei mentioning the principle 20 of the constitution based on the freedom of people for having each belief: “Having a viewpoint or belief is free; but expressing it for deviating the others’ thoughts, proselytizing or disturbing the others minds and the like won’t be allowable.[7]” consequently, the Baha’ism organization is trying to deceive the general and public thoughts.

     3) in its statement, the Baha’ism organization has considered spying for them as accusation. However, the history of the Baha’ism organization is full of treachery against our country, Iran. According to SAVAK documents, Baha’is were spying for America and England during the Pahlavi regime: “The Baha’is administrative center of Tehran has announced all assemblies across Iran in a secret letter that all Baha’is serving in the armed forces of kingdom to send the number of all military people from soldiers to generals to the administrative center of Baha’is of Tehran to be sent to the universal house of justice and then to London and America.[8]” don’t the Baha’ism heads communicate with the highest position officials of Israel[9]?! As a matter of fact, how should the spying organization of Baha’ism be behaved[10]?!

     4) it is obvious that the Baha’ism organization is trying to abolish the Islamic Republic of Iran gently. The Baha’ism organization has a bold role in the political sedition such as 1388 one[11] and the recent economic and exchange obstructionism.[12]

     5) Being Baha’i isn’t a crime; so just 70 Baha’is have been imprisoned out of three hundred thousand ones living in Iran!
