Bahaismiran:

Contrary to the Shiite scholars who considered divine law on matters of theology as the way to achieve the religion insights, Sheik Ahmad Ehsaee (1166- 1242 A.H.) considered his communications with the holy prophet (peace be upon him) and the holy Imams (peace be upon them) as the way to achieve the religious insights. Consequently, in many cases his method was different from the Shiite scholars who were referring their materials to the holy Quran and traditions.

Thus, late Tonekaboni (the author of the book "Qesasul Ulamma"[the stories of the scholars] who was present at Sheik Kazem Rashti's sessions and has seen Sheik Ahmad Ehsaee's works writes in this regard: "Sheik Ahmad says in many of his positions and compilations specially in the interpretation of Jame'h latter of pilgrimage that I heard Imam Sadeq (P.H.) state and in some cases he said: I heard Imam (P.H.) state face to face, he didn't mean he had heard in vigilance; but he meant what he has written separately in the epistle that he had been busy taking great pains earlier; so he had dreamed that twelve Imams (peace be upon them) had gathered in a place. So, he had resorted to the Excellency Imam Hassan Mojtaba (P.H.) and had stated to teach him something for the time when I have problem to sleep to dream one of  you to ask you the problem to be solved…. Additionally, when I intended to dream one of the holy Imams (peace be upon them) I dreamed one of them and I asked them to solve my problem (s).[1] "

Which the claim for direct relationships with the holy Imams (peace be upon them) in occultation era and receiving them sciences directly is incompatible with the philosophy of the major occultation and the lack of people's direct accessibility with the Imam (P.H.) . Thus, Imam Sadeq (P.H.) stated to answer about the fiction of Abi ibn Ka'b's dream:

" کذبوا و الله ، ان دین الله تبارک و تعالی اعّز من ان یری فی النوم."

"I Swear by God he is telling lies. The Almighty God's religion is more honored to be dreamed or proved in dream."[2]

Consequently, it can be said that Seik Amad Ehsaee has made his speech validity questionable by setting the path of divine law on matters of theology aside and turning to claimed revelations, unfair interpretations and abandoning public succession and divine law on matters of theology movements. These issues and his viewpoints which were against the book and tradition have made him to be excommunicated by the scholars of his era.[3]

Regarding the claim for Sheik Ahmad Ehsaee's dreams, other scholars have dreamed diversely. As Mulla Muhammad Saleh Baraqani (the third martyr's brother) has dreamed the holy prophet (P.H.) and asked him many questions to such an extent that he says: "… I asked him about Sheik Ahmad to know about his conditions because he has stated blashphemous words. The Excellency prophet (P.H.) smiled and stated Sheik Ahmad has made a mistake to say such words.[4]"

Anyway, regardless of adducing late Baraqani's statement, if dreaming is being adduced to prove a character or figuring out the religious issues for the public, the other person can pose contrary to it make the bases of the other person's reasoning questionable.

Consequently, the Excellency Sheikh Ahmad Ehsaee made Ali Muhammad Bab to be bold to claim for Babism, prophethood and divinity.
