Bahaismiran:

The Czar government of Russia could introduce Ali Muhammad Bab as the forth pillar applying one of the most skillful spies called Dimitri Ivanovich Kiniaz Dalgoruki in a several-year process in Iran and Iraq. The memoirs of this ambassador has been published and obserable. The Russian government supports continued to the time when Sobhi Azal and his brother Hussein Ali Nouri exiled to Iraq after terroristic measures of Bahaism cult especially Naseruddin’s assassination. When the Babuism leaders were present in Iraq, the main leadership of the cult was take over by England.

The note is that when Naseruddin Shah was assassinated by the Babi elements the skillful agent of the intelligent service of Russia; that is the minister plenipotetiary of Russia in Iran was managing the cult.

There are many cases about the cooperations between the Baha’is and the political and economic institutions related to Russia in Iran which are as follows:

Azizullah Khan Varqa, one of the Baha’i dignitaries of Tehran city was a member of the Russian loan bank of Russia in Tehran. It has been written that: when Azizullah Khan was serving in the Russian bank in Tehran, the head of the bank trusted and respected him a lot; so that he became the intermediator between the country influential people and that powerful bank. He possessed house in the best part of the city, furniture, carriage with beautiful horses. He was riding his carriage to manage wearing special bank clothes and medals. “Valiullah Khan Varqa was Mirza Azizullah Khan’s brother and was the Russian embassy clerk for a while. Then he became the first secretary of the ottoman embassy in Tehran.[1]

It is worthy to be said that the Baha’is were exploiting their friends and relatives’ relationships with the Russian organization in Iran to confront and collate against the Iranian government and to get rid of the pressures from the government and people. For instance: According to the book “Masabih Hedayat” [the light of guidance] which is one of the Baha’i references, when Varqa (one of the Baha’i heads) was captured in Zanjan city with Mirza Hussein Zanjani (Muhammad’s son died in 1302 A.H. in Eshq Abad) by Alaudduleh, the ruler of Zanjan city, Varqa frightened the ruler of the consequence and said: Mirza Hussein and his groom have good relationships with the Russian emassy in Iran. The mentioned reference writes: Alaudduleh said to Varqa: Tomorrow, I’ll cannonade Mirza Hussein and will send you and your son to Tehran city. The Excellency Varqa had confidentially said that Mirza Hussein had come from Eshq Abad informed by the consul ordered by Naseruddin Shah and his groom is also the Russian translator. They will follow the issue and it won’t be good for you. It is better for you to send him to Tehran with us.[2]

Another example is the adventure of the Baha’is of Azarbayjan imprisoned in Tabriz city. Mirza Heydar Ali Oskouee and a group of Baha’is were imprisoned in Tabriz for a while; but they got free meddling with French and Russian Consuls. Even, the Russian Consul got angry with the ruler of Tabriz city and personally he went to prison and got the Baha’is free and took them to consul by his personal carriage and entertained them.[3]

Conferming the above-mentioned remarks, we mention Reza Qoli Nikoubin “Nayeb” (1255- 1353 S.H.) who was one of the soldiery of Isfahan and serving for Zellussoltan. His mother’s ancestor was one of the first people who turned to Bab in Isfahan and his name has been mention in the Bayan and Aqdas books.[4] Reza Qoli helped the Baha’is taken refuge in a sanctuary in the Russian embassy during the disturbance of Isfahan known as consul even due to wearing the military clothes. For this reason, he was put into prison by Zellussoltan. Abbas Effendi issued a tablet to appreciate him. [5]

It has been written that Zellussoltan was the only one who could commute wearing formed cloth to supply the refugees’ requirements when the Russian embassy was refuging the disciples.[6]
