To state the teachings attributed to his father, Abdul Baha has introduced the independent investigation of truth as the first rudiment of the theological base of the Baha’i cult: “The first base of Bahaullah is the independent investigation of truth; that is people become pure and infallible out of the imitations inherited from ancestors.[1]”
However, contrary to the slogan of the independent investigation of truth by which the Baha’is are trying to introduce themselves as the inventors of this intellectual and Quranic principle[2] has been emphasized as a blind imitation from the leadership foundation of this cult in the Baha’ism commandments: “The nation affairs belong to the divine universal house of justice men… because every day an affair happens and per moment a wisdom is advisable. So, the affairs will be refered to the universal house of justice to be decided based on the then expediency. Those who rise to serve the faith are inspired by the divine inspirations and all must obey them.[3]”
Also, obeying and imitating the Baha’ism organization, the universal house of justice and the Baha’i assemblies are of the most important necessities of a Baha’i: “The disciples should consider their assembly members as their representatives in their affairs and appoint them as the divine trustees.
Each commandment which is being issued by the assembly must be conducted with cordiality.[4]”
Nevertheless, the truth is that contrary to its slogans, the Baha’ism has taken away the right for each kind of thought freedom and election for its followers issuing this commandment. On the other hand, Baha’ism has contradicted the slogan of the independent investigation of truth considered it as its invention.
