To represent the emergence of a new religion after Islam, the Baha’i leaders have continually tried to introduce their teachings as the needs of today world. Therefore, mentioning some so- called innovative and urgent teachings, the second leader of Baha’ism, Abdul Baha has attributed them to the forged prophet of this cult: “The Excellency Bahaullah’s teachings are really unique. They are the spirits of this century. One of these teachings is the oneness of humane world. Where can you find like this and the other is general peace. Show if you can find like this. Religion must cause kindness if it isn’t, it will be better for religion not to be existent and also the equality between men and women. Where can you find like it. Or quitting religious, homespun, political and sexual bigotry. In which book, can you find like these?[1]”
These so-called innovative teachings of Baha’ism have been copied after other intellectual religions and schools.[2] It is necessary to be know that Abdul Baha’s difference in mentioning them is a witness for unreal attribution of these teachings to the forged prophet of Baha’ism. Because investigating the Baha’i documents, we will figure out that the Excellency Abdul Baha has attributed different teachings to his father less than a year!
As he introduces the teaching principles of Hussein Ali Baha in 11 ones dated October, 13, 1911 A.D. in London: “First: The independent investigation of truth, Second: The oneness of humanity, Third: Religion must be the source of unity and fellowship, Forth: Religion must be in conformity with science and reason, Fifth: The removal all prejudice, Sixth: The equality of men and women, Seventh: The equalization of the means of livelihood, Eighth: The establishment of general peace, Ninth: Religion is separated from policy, tenth: Educating, developing and regulating women’s rights because they are men’s partners and are equal from humanity aspect, Eleventh: Humanity is the need of the breath of the holy spirit.[3]”
Eight months later on June, 8, 1912 A. D. in Philadelphia, he as presented the Baha’s teachings as 12 principles: “1) The oneness of humanity, 2) The removal of all prejudice, 3) A universal auxiliary language, 4) Universal compulsory education, 5) Establishment of universal peace, 6) The equality of men and women, 7) The independent investigation of truth, 8) The equalization of the means of livelihood, 9) Establishment of a universal house of justice, 10) Religion must be the source of unity and fellowship, 11) Human is in the need of the breath of the holy spirit and 12) Religion must be in conformity with science and reason.[4]”
As you observe, the Excellency Abdul Baha has considered the separation of religion and policy as one of the teachings of Baha’ism in his lecture in London in 1911; but he has for gotten or hasn’t considered it as 12 principles of Baha’ism in his lecture in Philadelphia in 1912. Also, he has added the teaching of the universal auxiliary language in 1912. What a contradictions in both lectures given in a short interval!
