Badasht was a place near Shahroud city in which Mirza Ali Muhammad Bab's followers had gathered to celebrate the abolishment of Islam and the independence of Bayan religious law. (When Bab was imprisoned in Makou and Chehriq prison. The following people were the operators of Badasht scandal: 1) Mirza Hussein Ali Baha 2) Muhammad Ali Qoddous Barforoushi (from Babol city[1]) 3) Qorratul Ein.[2]

     In the book the glossary of the blessed Writings p. 501, Ishraq Khawari narrates the adventure of Badasht as follows in brief:

     "Near Shahroud city, Badasht is obvious, toady… Anyway, the Blessed Beauty had invited several disciples, 81 people. The gathering had been held due to two purposes. They wanted to consult to make the Excellency Bab free from prison in Maku and also it was planned to announce the independence of Bayan religious law and the abolishment of Islam[3]…All people were Bahaullah's during their halting[4] in Badasht… Each disciple was named by a new name including the Blessed Beauty (Hussein Li) was named Bahaullah… Anyway, during the time when the disciples were gathering in Badasht, one of the old imitation was induced. The disciples didn’t know where those interpretations is from… During those days, several people were aware of Bahaullah's position and knew he was the source of those interpretations…

Suddenly the Excellency Thereh (Qorratul Ein) entered into the assembly unveiling and dressed up. When the audience observed the scene were frightened severely. He had stood up in astonishing manner because they were meeting what was unexpected… Because they believed that Tahereh was the manifestation of the Excellency Zahra 9peace be upon her) Abdul Khaleq Isfahani covered his face with a handkerchief and escaped shouting several people turned against the faith and turned to their previous beliefs…"

     Abdul Baha writes in Makatib, p. 254; "And the Excellency Tahereh raise the statement of "انی انا الله" [:Surely, I am the same God" to the heaven with a loud voice in Badasht and so did some disciples."

     Fadhel Mazandarani writes in the book "Zohourul Hagh, p. 110: "Mulla Hussein Boshrouyee (one of the first Bab's disciples) who was one of the Excellency Qoddous's (Muhammad Ali Baboli) devoted friend was absent in Badasht. When the abovementioned event was narrated for him, he said: "If I were in Badasht, I would punish the disciple with sword."

     Eventually, after Badasht event, Hussein Ali Baha departed to Nour, Mazandaran with his servant Tahreh Qorratul Ein.
