Ali Muhammad was Reza Shirazi's offspring and was born in 1235 A.H. in Shiraz city. He had learned in Shiekh Abed's class who was one of the Sheikism scholars and had learned writing and reading and the Persian literature and Arabic there.
As usual, he came out of school and became interested in Gnosticism matters, strange sciences and various mortifications (in Shiraz and Boushehr cities) due to having social intercourses with Sheikism scholars and other people.
Then, he headed off towards the holy Shrines to participate at Seyyed Kazem Rashti's classes.
After a while, he came back to Shiraz city and wrote letters for Seyyed Kazem Rashti's disciples and students to keep in touch with them.[1]
When Kazem Rashti died and his students were seeking for the perfect Shiite and the successor of Seyyed (the forth pillar), Ali Muhammad claimed for this position in Shiraz city.
Ali Muhammad could deceive naive people by having social intercourses with people of mortifications and Gnosticism.
It is said in the summary of Nabil Zarandi history that: The Excellency Bab was busy trading most of the time in Boushehr city and although, it was extremely hot there, he went to the roof during the day for several hours and was busy praying[2].
During nearly five months, eighteen people paid attention to Bab (Hayy letters) and believed in his spirituality position. Of course, all of them were from Sheikism.
These eighteen people's attentions were special; otherwise the majority of Sheikis were paying attention to Hajj Muhammad Karim Khan Kermani and Mirza Hassan Gohar and Mirza Baqer and others.
Even, he turned against all of his claims in Wakil mosque, Shiraz city and rejected all of his statements and cursed the claimants of such claims.
It is said in the summary of Nabil History: then, Friday prayer Imam of Shiraz city asked Bab in Wakil mosque make a speech in brief in order to relieve the public excitements. The Excellency Bab turned towards the public and said: May God damn a person who call me the deputy of Imam of the Time. God damn the one who call me as the one who rejects God's unity and the Excellency Messenger's prophethood. Amy God damn the one who consider me as the one who rejects divine prophets and the commander of the faithful's Imamate…[3]
Yes, the next stage, Seyyed used the title of the one whom God will manifest. Next, in Tabriz meeting where he became unable and disable in the presence of government representatives, great scholars of Tabriz and sages, he started repenting and writing and signing the letter of repentance.
