It is difficult to speak about Sheikh Ahmad Ehsaee because Shiite scholars views about him is different. Some scholars have praised and some have reprehended him.[1]
Late Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Abbas Qouchani who was a great jurisconsult and learned man met late Qazi, the other day asked for his idea about Sheikism and Ehsaee himself. The great scholar Qazi reprehended Ehsaee extremely contrary to Late Qouchani’s view. Late Qouchani said: “One day I said to late Qazi: what’s wrong in Sheikism belief? They are worshipping and are Shiite: They express their regard and sincerity toward the holy Imams (peace be upon them). Their religious jurisprudence is the Shiite one and act our traditions. In brief, there is no difficulty in their morality and action.[2] “
Late Qazi stated at that moment: “Bring the interpretation of Jame’h Kabireh letter of pilgrimage written by Sheikh Ahmad Ehsaee, tomorrow.” In fact, he wanted to state his view concerning Ehsaee presenting reason and proof.
Ayatollah Qouchani said: “I brought it tomorrow and he stated: Read. I read for nearly an hour. Then the master stated: That’s enough. Now, it turned obvious for you that what its difficulty is. The problem or difficulty is in his belief.”
It is interesting that late Qazi has introduced polytheism as the biggest deviation of Ehsaee and stated: “Sheikh wants in his book to prove that God’s essence doesn’t possess any name and is higher than names and features and what is being happened in the world is being performed through names and features and they are the origins of world and human being creature.[3]”
Ehsaee’s works were deviated which could be figured out just by the great scholars who were and are seasoned in sciences. Unfortunately, those deviations had remained hidden by late Qouchani although he was one of the skillful great scholars but not by late Qazi.
