Abbas Effendi as the elder son of Hussein Ali Nouri, the forged prophet of Baha'ism, was elected as the guardian of this organization after his father. During his lifetime, he travels of Europe and America many times and make extensive proselytizing and tried for a positive face of Baha'ism to be come through deceptively.
In order to attract the Ottoman government's satisfaction, he was participating at all religious customs of Muslims particularly Friday prayer. He had recommended the Baha'is residing Heifa and Acca not to speak about Baha'ism with anybody. He had said that dissimulation is illegitimate in Baha'ism; but he lived in it to the end of his life.[1]
According to the Baha'i teachings nobody must meddle with policy. However, during the war between the British government and the Ottoman one, Abdul Baha opened the grain warehouses for the British troops: Britain; in turn, bestowed him the Sir Medal.[2]
Eventually, this old man died on Nov. 29, 1921A.D. in the occupied land of Palestine after a lifetime of spying and being loyal with the British government. In his funeral, the British ambassador Sir Herbet Samuel participated and announced the condolence message of Winston Churchill).[3] Then, he was buried on the scope of Kermel mount, Heifa, Israel near the grave of Ali Muhammad Shirazi [the Bab] who claimed for prophethood and divinity.[4]
