As clear by the title of the book “Kashful Qita’ An Hiyal Al-A’ada”, the book has been written aiming to answer the book “Noqtatul Kaff” whose introduction written by “Edward Browne”. The book refers to the time when the Babis were exiled from Iran and there was disunity among Bab’s followers.
During the time when there was a division among Babism members, Russia supported the Baha’is and the English teneded to support Azalis and tried to confiscate Baha’ism movement in favor of themselves. One of the English people who tried in this path was the English Edward Browne. He found a book called Noqtatul Kaff and published and introduced its author as Mirza Jani Kashani and wrote a long introduction for it. The subject of the book is the history of Bab’s emergence and the first 8-year event of Babism history. This book isn’t accepted by the Baha’is; because Bab hasn’t introduced the leader of Baha’ism as his successor nowhere in his works and in the contrary he proves Sobhi Azal as his successor.
Consequently, Abdul Baha decides to answer to the book Noqtatul Kaff. The introduction of the book is being written by Edward Browne and Bab history is being confiscated in favor of Baha’is. Abul Fadh Golpaygani is being commissioned to answer the book by Abdul Baha. (Golpaygani is one of the most prominent proselytizers of Baha’ism). Nevertheless, he dies and is being completed by Mirza Mahdi, and several Baha’is such as Adib taleqani, Naeem Sadehi and Samarqand Qazvini.[2]
As revealed by the introduction of the book “kashful Qita”, the book is being edited during the years 1330-1334 and was published in Tashkand in 1337. However, the events like occupying Palestine by the English and falling Russian Czar emperor caused Abdul Baha to change its Kiblah from Czar capital to London.
This political turn cause Abdul Baha to change its servility from Russian to English government.[3] Also, Abdul Baha gathered thousand of copies of the book “Kashful Qita” (published in Russia) ordered by him to be written.[4] So, Abdul Baha ordered for the copies of Kashful Qita’ to be burnt.
How is possible for the Baha’i leader to be sent by God while they were depending on the then superpowers and occupiers while the Almighty God has stated in the holy Quran that:
وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنْصَرُونَ (هود/ 113)
“And incline not toward those who do wrong lest the Fire touch you, and ye have no protecting friends against Allah, and afterward ye would not be helped.” [Al-Houd/ 113]
