The Excellency Mirza Baha says:
“It is ordered by God for you to wash your hands, then face everyday. This is the prayer ablution and this a commandment from God Almighty.”
Islam says: For ablution, you must wash your face and your arms from elbow and then anoint your head and feet. The person who performs ablution will have to keep his/her face, hands and feet clean.
Mirza Baha says: “If you couldn’t find water to wash your face and hands you need to say the following prayer 5 times: “بسم الله الاطهر الاطهر”[2]
However, Islam says: If you couldn’t perform ablution, it is necessary for you to perform ablution with earth or sand. Because earth is one of the cleaners.
According to the book “the treasury of limitations and commandments: The Baha’i ablution is performing by the simplest way[3]:
1) Washing arms to the wrist,
2) Washing face and reciting two two-line prayer,
It is interesting to be noted that there isn’t anything to render ablution null.[4]

[3] The Blessed Beauty is saying in the book “Aqdas”:
When you are washing arms, you must recite this prayer:
When you are washing your face, you must recite:
