Why was the Excellency Bahaullah calling his addressees as donkeys?!

Bahaismiran:

 Contrary to the humanitarian slogan attributed to the self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism, he was free from this feature and didn’t possess it. However, how is it possible for Abdul Baha to consider addressing such people as ignorant as a false action; while the self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism has called such addressees as donkeys!

 

 

As he said: “O’ donkeys, right is right whether you say or not and it can’t be false by polytheists’ words.[1]” he has also called the great scholars of Islam as donkeys with big turbans:

 

إحفظ نفسکَ بأن لایُقلِّبکَ کبر العمائم مِن کلِّ مُبغضٍ حمیر

“Keep yourself out of the donkey enemies, those who are wearing big turbans in order not to make you turn against you (:Baha’ism).[2]

 

He has also told one of his addressees:

 

قُل انَّک أنتَ یا حَمیر ما اطَّلعتَ بِأصلِ الأمر

“Tell, O’ donkey, you aren’t of the real adventure[3].”

 

It is interesting to be noted that the self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism considered himself to have a spirit blown to everyone, he/she would changed into donkey; as we read:

 

قُل یا أیُّها الحَمیر انَّا حَفظناهُ و رَبَّیناهُ و وَصَفناهُ و اذکرناه...

“Tell; o’ donkey, we preserved him and grew, described and memorized… we know what your father taught you day and night. He deceived you and been our spirit which will change each person into donkey[4].

 

However, the Baha’is may justify and say that Hussein Ali Nouri has liken his opponents to donkeys due to their ignorance; while according to the Baha’i leaders attributing ignorance to people isn’t acceptable; as Abdul Baha has said: “The Baha’i teachings in this bright period is in such a way that people mustn’t be insulted and attributed to ignorance; but all people must be respected.[5]
