One of the twelve Baha’ism teachings is the teaching of “the independent investigation of truth”; that is, truth seeking and avoiding imitation. The Baha’is believe that every mature person must search the truth.

Because of the undetermined reasons, the Excellency Bahaullha has announced the training Israeli people as the forbidden action. Pay attention to the universal house of justice letter answering one of the Baha’is:

The Universal House of justice has received your letter dated June 25, 1995 and has ordered us to answer it. You have asked: How is the policy of not training [Baha’ism] to Israeli while it is done through the Internet? The Universal House of Justice hasn’t asked the disciples not to have any intercourse with Israelis. While you realize that a person to whom you are chatting is an Israeli one, you must have a friendly social intercourse with him/her; but you mustn’t train him/her the Baha’i teachings. If he/she had become interested in Baha’ism, you must refer him/her to the Baha’i universal center headquarter in Heyfa.

It should be informed that the Israeli people are aware of the real data concerning Baha’ism and its general history and principles. The Baha’i book are available in most Israeli libraries. The Israeli people are allowed to visit the Baha’i tombs and gardens. However, Baha’is don’t teach the faith in Israel to follow the policies emphasized by Bahaullah. Also, Baha’ism isn’t being taught to the Israeli who are living out of Israel or are going to return to Israel. When an Israeli person asks about the faith, their questions must be answered so that it doesn’t attract them to the faith.

Questions:

How is it possible for a faith which claims the independent investigation of truth prevents a group of people (Israelis) to know about Baha’ism?

They claim that Baha’ism is a religion and is the best way and considers everybody equal. They believe that everybody must become Baha’i to evolve. So, why can’t Israelis be Baha’i?

How is it possible that God introduces a religion as the best one; but prevent a group of people of join it?
